I go back and forth with Chloe Sevigny. There are days when I think she's beyond fantastic, and days when I find her fashion choices way too out there for me. Her Proenza Schouler look at Derek Blasberg's "Classy" book party was somewhere in between. While I love the cuts, lengths and fit etc, the prints are not my cup of tea. I get it, I totally do, it's just not my thing. I've come to the sad realization that i'm just so boring these days, and I can't seem to step away from neutrals. Oops.
In any case I do think Chloe looks great, and yes I do have the ability to appreciate a certain style even if it's not mine. I'm still loving her cropped hair and well socks and open toed heels are always a hit in my book.

Rachel Bilson has a new obsession. Ok, so it's not as compulsive as the Sienna Miller/Prada bag debacle of summer 2009 just yet, but it seems to be the beginnings of a steady relationship. And we all know when Rachel wears something more than once it's love (exhibit A. the 3.1 Phillip Lim bow bag she was photographed with many a time). This time around Rachel's loving Mary Jane flats from Tila March. And why not? The "ballerine elastique" flats are the perfect transition piece from Winter to Spring. As RBils shows us, tights and jeans work perfectly with this modern mix of two staples in footwear (the flat and mary jane) but let's just take a moment to picture it paired with some floral shorts, a mini or even (GHASP) linen overalls (my new obsession for spring). Me thinks that Ms. Bilson has stumbled upon the ultimate in between season footwear.

Ok, so technically that title doesn't make too much sense other than that Justin & Jessica have been all lovey dovey in Rome and that song reminds me of Jude Law in "The Talented Mr. Ripley"... So down to the fashion - I always have such a hard time looking put together, yet comfortable, stylish, appropriate etc when sightseeing on vacation. I've never been a big fan of Jessica Biel's style - she never seems to put too much effort into it other than red carpet looks... that being said she totally blew me away with this perfectly paired touring outfit. LOVE LOVE LOVE the leopard print scarf...hope they are eating lots of pasta!
Oh and Justin doesn't look too bad in his fedora and wayfarers.
After seeing the pictures of this vacation I've decided I actually like them together.
ps - i know this picture's a few days old but i couldn't help it!
Seems like orange is everywhere these days.
Where better to get your dose of Vitamin C than with a mini silk dress in the bright attention seeking color! Cameron Diaz chose a very mini (I'd wanna show off those legs too!) very ruffled dress to receive her decade of hotness award at the Spike TV Awards, Jessica Szohr - one of our most style revereed Gossip Girls - went with a bright orange number for the Teen Choice Awards and paired it with a waist cinching belt (great choice), and our regal Gwyneth wore her citrus to a Tod's store opening.
So what do you think? To orange or not to orange?
