Finally, it was Nicole Richie's turn. There was no way to overlook her this week... she did attend every event possible in the greater Los Angeles area.
She changed up the looks, going for grecian goddess one night, mod It girl the next and finally her standard boho chic in a gorgeous paisley gown and braided updo. I like how she went hair down all week and finished it off with the updo - very "new mom" of her.
Good work NR, maybe it was the mini reunion with Rachel Zoe, or maybe it's just her innate style, but Nicole Richie rocked the red carpets just like it was 3 years ago.
No surprise, it's Nicole Richie versus...Nicole Richie??? In another week full of Fall events - Awards, Screenings, Store Openings...quite a tough week to decide...so who do you think looked the best all week? I'm having a hard time deciding between Kate Beckinsale & Nicole Richie in her hippie paisley dress...
What do you think?
Doesn't it feel like a never ending party circuit? Store openings, book promotions, film festivals, charities...and Nicole Richie's been at every single one of them!!!
Here are some of the great fashion moments from this week... stay tuned for more later...
I love Nicole Richie on the red carpet. Ok I love Nicole Richie's style off the red carpet too...but the new mom has been really glowing at every event possible lately.
At the H&M West Hollywood store opening earlier this week, she wore a mod style print mini dress with long sleeves, thick black tights and her usual Louboutin sky highs. The next night, she put away her tights for a very 20s looking silk beige Alberta Ferretti (doesn't it seem like everyone is wearing long ethereal goddessy off white gowns this week?) at the designer's store opening. A very different look from the night before and she pulls both off flawlessly.
Clearly store openings are good to Nicole...just curious who is doing her styling now??
Two store openings, two coasts...many many fashionistas. Felt like the old set of fashion savvy ex trouble makers in LA against the new crop of Gossip Girls that have been dominating fashion events in NYC. On the west coast we had Nicole Richie, Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan - of the Rachel Zoe era of super style - attending the opening of the DSquared store. All looking amazingly California hip, especially NR. We are of course bias but she looks great in a maxi floral dress and cropped leather jacket. Again the California hippie hair that I just love! Mischa Barton also continuing her good streak in a goddess inspired white maxi dress. On the east coast - Gossip Girls galore attended the opening of Juicy Couture's new store. While everyone obsesses over Blake Lively, it's no secret that I am such a fan of Jessica Szohr's edgier and extremely fun look. She just looks - awesome. Only word I could find to describe it. From the bold color of the dress, skinny belt, black patent booties to the armful of bangles that's reminiscent of the Rachel Zoe style! Not the biggest fan of Blake Lively's dress that looks more like a long sweater worn backwards. Overall - a big night for store openings and fashionable girls everywhere!
How I love seeing Nicole Richie all decked out in her best... I honestly love 99% of everything she wears and have quite a few pictures of her in my "Inspiration" file.
Yes yes, we all went through our NR phase a few years ago, with the whole Rachel Zoe craze - big glasses, cowboy boots, hippie dresses... but I think it's amazing to see how she's evolved with her style and really made it her own...and now as a new mom, she's at the same time modern, hip, on trend, sophisticated and a bit demure, even in a backless Reem Acra golden gown. She was certainly showing off her post baby curves at the Carousel of Hope ball in LA, couldn't be happier she abandoned her sickly skinny ways, she really just looks amazing!
Anyway like I said - we love seeing Nicole in her gowns and red carpet wear but to be honest I prefer seeing her in jeans around town - she has the best personal every day style...
So, after the jump check out Nicole's choice of outfit for pumpkin picking...again I say, oh to be wearing flip flops!!!
