Needless to say it's been a bit of a crazy few days and time has been extremely limited.
So I'm finally catching up, which sadly means I haven't even looked at anything since last Thursday!!! Can you believe it?
In any case, lots going on, it seems Nicole Richie is the belle of the ball these days, making many appearances and toting her baby bump along with her. I still refuse to watch The Hills but at the same time look at LC as a fashion icon, pathetic I know.
So here's yet another apology for another long absence...let's hope this time the promises of continued posting sticks...
Our first nominee for 2008's best of the best is Mrs. Coldplay herself, Gwyneth Paltrow. Yes we were all amazed by her surprising turn from mom to Moses & Apple to sexy screen siren in mini dresses.
Wether it was promoting Iron Man or partying in Miami, she rocked every red carpet possible in very very mini dresses and even a pantsuit along the way.
Gucci, Preen, Derek Lam, Lanvin, Balmain and of course a lot of Stella McCartney; oh and a very good tailor.
But of course the credit doesn't go to Gwyneth, we all know her stylist is the genius who brought her back from fashion purgatory with an edgy angled bob and a lot of leg.
What do you think? Is a return to the top back and better than ever worthy of Top Gun status? (you know, best of the best)
The week started out in Miami with the Victorias Secret Show and then stopped in New York for the CFDA Awards and then jaunting to Dubai for a hotel opening and then back to LA for some serious premieres...
Oh the tough life of a celebrity fashionista... so who do you think had the best look this week?
Ok - so last night's returns were definitely not of the "too close to call" variety.
But Gwyneth Paltrow's Antonio Berardi dress at the Paris premiere of her new movie Two Lovers is definitely too close to call... At the same time that I think she looks stunning, i take a look at the dress and find it a bit terrifying and confused.
If it weren't for the unfortunate peek at what looks like white cotton underwear, the dress would be amazing and I would go with my first instinct that she looks perfect as she has lately. The hair, make up, jewelry all amazing... the shape of the dress is so flattering, but I just don't understand why I need to see Gwyneth's underwear.
I do have to say the boots are a gamble and I like them.
I love seeing what some of the most stylish women in the world wear to get on a plane! It's a tough situation since you want to look cute and put together but at the same time comfortable - unless you're Posh in which case you just forego comfort altogether for 4 inch heels on a 10 hour flight.
Three of our favorite fashionistas, and three different airport looks...both comfortable and effortlessly stylish. Clearly finding the balance between comfort and chic involves tight black pants or leggings, black boots and a grey scarf!
Where better to get your dose of Vitamin C than with a mini silk dress in the bright attention seeking color! Cameron Diaz chose a very mini (I'd wanna show off those legs too!) very ruffled dress to receive her decade of hotness award at the Spike TV Awards, Jessica Szohr - one of our most style revereed Gossip Girls - went with a bright orange number for the Teen Choice Awards and paired it with a waist cinching belt (great choice), and our regal Gwyneth wore her citrus to a Tod's store opening.
