Now this is the Angelina Jolie we all know, and have a love/hate relationship with. Ms. Jolie showed up to support partner Brad Pitt, and hopefully squash those rumors of bad blood between them, at the LA premiere of Inglorious Basterds wearing a strapless black leather Michael Kors dress, with heels and jewelry by Dior. I don't know about you, but I like my Angelina black leather clad and dangerous. All she needs now is a vial of Brad's blood around her neck and we're good to go. Note to Jennifer Aniston's sweet French Braided February Oscar appearance, this is how you say "screw you world I'm the baddest bitch there ever was with or without Brad Pitt."
More from the Inglorious Basterds premiere, aka Diane Kruger, after the jump...
Ok, I couldn't resist a double RiRi and Diane Kruger post. Something dark must be lurking in the London waters because both ladies went for head to toe black looks at the Inglorious Basterds premiere at the Odeon. Rihanna was incredibly covered up for a change, in all black Alexander McQueen, lace gloves, black booties and piles upon piles of pearls. I do like the 1940's vibe this has (hello Sienna) but I like my Rihanna like I like my men, in neon 1980s style. Ok maybe that's not exactly the case on the latter part, but I've come to appreciate Rihanna's fierce neon, over shouldered looks and although this is nice and sophisticated (well minus the hair) it just doesn't feel like her.
Diane Kruger also didn't feel like her usual Pacey loving self. I'm normally numero uno Diane Kruger fan, but this Balmain dress seems like it should have been on Rihanna instead of her. Don't get me wrong the dress is awesome just prefer her in something a bit softer, she doesn't have the edge to go along with this. Maybe she heard RiRi was attending and tried to out rock star glam her? The slicked back hair and heavy eye make up also not my favorite. And the lack of Joshua Jackson on her arm as an accessory is also throwing me off.
On a totally unrelated note, where in the world is Brad Pitt that he's not at his movie's premiere?
OMG, OMG, OMG...and I never use that acronym. But I have no other words to describe last night's Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
Fashionistas, models, celebrities, reality stars, socialites and of course designers galore. The CFDA's is probably my favorite night in fashion, it's not as costumey (pun intended) as the MET Ball and much cooler than the Oscars, and of course we are all about the cool kids.
Take a look at the complete list of last night's winners below - including Alexander Wang whose Gap CFDA collection hits stores today (already ordered the whole thing online!)...and after the jump see who wore what last night!

It's that time of year again...Hollywood has flocked to the South of France and it's premieres, parties and non stop fashioning for It Girls galore.
Rachel Weisz, Diane Kruger, Kate Austen um Evangeline Lilly, Eva Longoria and surely many more to come...Cannes's one of my favorite red carpets, especially since they bring out all the glamour and it lasts a whole 10 days
So, enough chit chat, let's get caught up on the French fashions...
Since I'm having some serious technical difficulties and my galleries are still not working, I'm forced to post here all in one. I've had some troubles posting, hence the tardiness on some of these...but here we go. Here are some of my favorites from the past couple of days...I love weeks like this!!
Diane Kruger in Nina Ricci at the Gala against AIDS in Paris (sigh she was accompanied by boyfriend Pacey Whitter)
Angelina Jolie in Ralph Lauren FINALLY!! Something age appropriate and that doesn't look like a mumu!!
Keira Knightley debuting her fabulous new very full very blunt bangs in Chanel at the Chanel Haute Couture show
Are they trying to tell me something? Nicole Richie also got new shorter bangs...Ok I think it's time for me to get bangs again everyone! This is my most favorite look this week (yes yes I'm biased)...Loving her hippie chic look in a kimono dress and oversized clutch, I want this to be my Spring 09 look!
Mischa Barton in Elie Saab also at the Gala against AIDS in Paris (continuing her Tour de France if you will)
And last but not least...yet another High School Musical 3 premiere with star Vanessa Hudgens in an adorably teen like pink Moschino dress.
There were some outstanding looks on the red carpet this week. We keep going on the premiere circuit of Twilight and the beginning of what's sure to be a grueling promotional tour for Benjamin Button.
The top 5 were an easy choice this week...but picking between Diane Kruger's funky throwback to old school in Chanel and Keri Russell's angelic turn in Givenchy was just impossible.
Oh and then there was Emma Roberts, out of nowhere in an amazing Chanel navy lace dress.
What do you think? Who had the best look this week?
