Should we just skip the pleasantries and get right down to business? No? Ok. Well I'm sorry for the MIA-ness yet again but things have been a bit crazed round these parts. But as I've said before, excuses, excuses... guess I'll just say: Oops, my bad. Yes it's been a few weeks and yes I've missed you, have you missed me???
I think that's enough of that isn't it? Let's move on.
So little Miss Kristen "I'm too cool to stand up straight on the red carpet" Stewart has been really doing the rounds the past few weeks. I don't know if you guys know but there's this little movie coming out tomorrow that you might be interested in. It's called Eclipse and it's about vampires and werewolves etc. Oh, you've heard about it already? Sorry guess I'm really behind. (I hope you are all catching on to my sarcasm b/c I'm laying it on pretty thick). Anywho, KStew has been all over the world promoting what will no doubt be the summer's biggest movie and something about her red carpet presence caught my eye along the way. Yes the rebel with no cause is still there, and yes she still has that whole "I like to wear black" thing going on, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Kristen and her stylist, Tara Swennen, have finally honed in on Kristen's ideal red carpet look. It's a mix of rock-rebel-chic with modern-futuristic body con and a little designer sophistication. All minis, all the time. Most of them wicked tight and a mix of strapless, one shouldered and long sleeved. Like I said, credit where credit is due. I've also noticed a little something else - Kristen's been smiling a lot more and developed a nice little LC style red carpet pose. Let's hope she keeps it going...
Check the gallery for a complete look at Kristen Stewart's Eclipse red carpet style. Trust me, you'll be amazed.

Forget the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmy's...the MET Costume Institute Gala is the place to be for the most fashionable red carpet looks.
Hosted by Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake, this year's "Model as Muse" Gala has to be the most style filled event of the year.
From glam ball gowns to mini sequin dresses, to some serious disasters (we'll get to that next), the red carpet was a who's who of fashion and Hollywood.
Oh and did I mention models? Sure most fashion events bring out loads of the slender and tall fashionistas, but with the Model as Muse theme, it was like a model safari - even bringing out our early 90s favorites Cindy Crawford, Paulina Poriskova and Claudia Schiffer. It's like the George Michael Freedom video all over again.
So here go the best of the best...stay tuned for the Oh No moments, trust me there were quite a few...

Just when you thought it was safe to walk by Bryant Park again...here comes Fashion Week.
What can I say, it's a love hate relationship that's developed over a few seasons of endless envelope stuffing nights, list making and seat chart coordination mixed with the nervous day of show anxiety and final sigh of relief when everyone takes their seat and the first model hits the runway.
Everyone’s pre-fashion week tensions seemed unusually high this season with the added bonus of recession anxiety all around. I almost started to believe that Fall Winter 2009 Fashion Week was going to be quite subdued and somber.
I was wrong.
Parties, glamour, the very highest end of fashion and a who’s who of fashionistas worldwide… Needless to say the usual bevy of celebrities were afoot.
Now, Fashion Week is technically not over until tomorrow but I figured with my tardiness and this much ground to cover it’s time to get started. I’m not resting until Saturday.

I FINALLY saw Slumdog Millionaire this weekend and needless to say, my obsession with Freida Pinto continues. Beautiful, talented and extremely stylish.
Freida was on hand at the DGA Awards this weekend, where Slumdog Millionaire took home yet another award.
Not surprising, she looked amazing. Wearing a one shoulder golden Zac Posen dress and Jimmy Choo shoes.
Amazing, and natural. Love the hair and the makeup - stay true to your ingenue roots as long as possible!
More images of Freida shopping (at H&M!!!) and looking effortlessly chic after the break... fashionable on and off the red carpet.
