super trends*: ladies in red...

Holy red carpet batman!! Is it me or has the red carpet been extremely, um, red, lately? Seems some of our favorite fashionistas are trading the LBD for the LRD. Dare I say it? Red is the new black?...

daily style: angelina's salt style...

Not that I wasn't beyond thrilled to see Brangie on the red carpet last night for the premiere of Salt, but something about this whole promo tour really has me irked. Mainly the fact that there was no promo tour. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Angelina Jolie's "Salt" promotional tour wardrobe. Not much to work with now is it? A few weeks ago she started out posing at a photocall in Mexico wearing a gorgeous white Versace strapless mini dress. And now, many moons later we get the second installment of Angie's Salt wardrobe - a black strapless sequined Emporio Armani mini dress.

Again, don't get me wrong, it's always nice to see the saintly couple strolling down that red carpet like they are Hollywood royalty - but I was disappointed. I expected more from our drop dead Angie - especially considering this is all we've gotten so far, and our Angie red carpet sightings are few and far between. Even Kristen Stewart gave us at least 10 pretty dresses to look at promoting Eclipse. Does this mean Salt's not being all that promoted because it isn't all that good? Because that would be disappointing too.

Thoughts on Angie's Salt style, or lack thereof?

the greatest night in fashion...

Forget the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmy's...the MET Costume Institute Gala is the place to be for the most fashionable red carpet looks.

Hosted by Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake, this year's "Model as Muse" Gala has to be the most style filled event of the year.

From glam ball gowns to mini sequin dresses, to some serious disasters (we'll get to that next), the red carpet was a who's who of fashion and Hollywood.

Oh and did I mention models? Sure most fashion events bring out loads of the slender and tall fashionistas, but with the Model as Muse theme, it was like a model safari - even bringing out our early 90s favorites Cindy Crawford, Paulina Poriskova and Claudia Schiffer. It's like the George Michael Freedom video all over again.

So here go the best of the best...stay tuned for the Oh No moments, trust me there were quite a few...

It's a walk off... it's a walk off...

Angelina Jolie glowingly stepped back into the limelight after the birth of her twins looking absolutely 100% perfect (seriously it's just not ok) in a black strapless Versace dress at the premiere of her new movie "The Changeling." I honestly have no words about how just insanely gorgeous these two are - it's unfair to the rest of humanity... ok yes you can call me a Brangeloonie...

Around the same time Mariah Carey (yo Mariah, you on fire...sorry couldn't help it) visited the Bank nightclub at the Bellagio in the same sweetheart neckline pairing it with black tights and a casual looking up do. She has been looking amazing these days - reminiscent of her Dreamlover days - but... how can you face off the Mother Superior?

Should I even ask????
