the ladies who after party...

By Roberta Correia · January 22, 2010

sure the main event of globes night is the awards red carpet itself. but that didn't keep some of our favorite (uninvited to the big party) ladies from styling it up on the after party circuit...

Daily Style: Vanessa Hudgens

By Roberta Correia · September 29, 2009

Once a tween queen always a tween queen. Vanessa Hudgens attended the Neutrogena Fresh Faces of Music VIP Event in all of her Disney glory. Looking absolutely youthful in a tan leather Camilla and Marc dress that looks tailored made for Vanessa. Joining the dress were her trademark waves, close toed silver snakeskin pumps and a long golden pendant. Pretty standard Vanessa Hudgens fare and we love a girl who knows what works for her.

so much fashion so little time...

By Roberta Correia · March 4, 2009

Yes I've been absent again. It's sadly become common place.

But I'm catching up and will hopefully be up and running like normal as of this afternoon.

Looks like this week has been all about Milan Fashion Week and all about Dolce & Gabbana (with a bit of Marley & Me in there too).

I wonder if Dolce flew everyone there in one private plane?? Can you imagine??

Oh and it's just not fair that Gisele is beyond perfect.

So much fashion so little time...

Since I'm having some serious technical difficulties and my galleries are still not working, I'm forced to post here all in one. I've had some troubles posting, hence the tardiness on some of these...but here we go. Here are some of my favorites from the past couple of days...I love weeks like this!!

Diane Kruger in Nina Ricci at the Gala against AIDS in Paris (sigh she was accompanied by boyfriend Pacey Whitter)

Angelina Jolie in Ralph Lauren FINALLY!! Something age appropriate and that doesn't look like a mumu!!

Keira Knightley debuting her fabulous new very full very blunt bangs in Chanel at the Chanel Haute Couture show

Are they trying to tell me something? Nicole Richie also got new shorter bangs...Ok I think it's time for me to get bangs again everyone! This is my most favorite look this week (yes yes I'm biased)...Loving her hippie chic look in a kimono dress and oversized clutch, I want this to be my Spring 09 look!

Mischa Barton in Elie Saab also at the Gala against AIDS in Paris (continuing her Tour de France if you will)

And last but not least...yet another High School Musical 3 premiere with star Vanessa Hudgens in an adorably teen like pink Moschino dress.

Desperately Seeking...Fringe Bag

By Roberta Correia · January 27, 2009

Yes, it's been a while since one of these. My apologies. I've tried to keep my lusting after new items for my already overly packed closet to a minimum, you know, recession and all.

But the Spring collections are starting to arrive and seeing the celebs in their transition wardrobes is making me seriously crave new clothes. Of course, it's 20 degrees here in NYC so the best I can do is update to a Spring bag. Enter my favorite trend: boho chic. Seems it's back with a vengeance and I'm not complaining. One of my favorite boho pieces? A fringe bag.

Since my fringe bag has seen better days and the fringes are actually starting to fall off, I figured it's time to upgrade to a new model - something that makes a bigger statement.

Miss Vanessa Hudgens is already on that trend and has been seeing carrying around her JJ Winters bag - at $425. Yeah I can't afford that either, so let's try my standard favorites for something a bit more affordable: Forever 21 & Urban here we go.

1. Urban Outfitters. Suede Fringe Hobo. $78

2. Forever 21. H81 Fringe Tote. $19

3. Forever 21. Suede Fringe Handbag. $32

4. Steve Madden. Baustin Black Suede. $88

Golden Globe Indeed

By Roberta Correia · January 11, 2009

My first thought watching my E! Golden Globe Red Carpet Special (is it wrong that I miss Joan and Melissa Rivers?) was, wow, I have a lot to cover. My second thought; wow, that's a lot of gold, and beige and gold/beige toned dresses...

Interesting since lately it has felt like a sea of black dresses.

Are the stylists of Hollywood getting the memo that it's time to lighten up?

J.Lo (in a dress that made me sick with nostalgia for her green Versace dress from the late 90s), Demi Moore, Vanessa Hudgens, Amanda Seyfreid, Megan Fox (sadly sans the Notorious B.A.G.), Saint Angelina herself, Kate Beckinsale and Penelope Cruz all opted for tones that went according with the award...Golden.

So much fashion so little time...

There was too much fashion this morning to even being to think about posting these girls all separately!!

Too much style for one morning? No such thing. Let's take a minute away from being glued to CNN's coverage of our world crumbling and check out some seriously hard news.

After the jump - Rachel Bilson, Sarah Chalke, Liv Tyler, Vanessa Hudgens & much more!!!
