Oh how I love a good "who wore it better?" challenge. But I've literally never seen a look repeater so close together. As we've already seen Rumer Willis stepped out in Stella McCartney for the LA premiere of her movie Sorority Row last Thursday. Meanwhile the next morning in France, Rachel McAdams donned the exact same Stella McCartney lace blouse at the Deauville Film Festival opening ceremony. Both ladies kept the look monochromatic in all black, but this is proof that you really can do so many things with just one piece. While Rachel kept the look very ladylike by tucking the blouse into a black tulip skirt and pairing the whole thing with black peep toes, Rumer's look felt younger and fresher loosely laired over black skinny pants and pointy black pumps. Not to mention that Rumer's dark makeup added a rocker chic element to the very feminine lace.

What do we think? McGosling or a member of the WIllis/Moore/Kutcher clan?

Daily Style: I love those cupcakes like McAdams loves a plunging neckline...

As far as I am concerned Rachel McAdams has never looked more sophisticated than she did at last night's NYC premiere of The Time Traveler's Wife (which by the way I can't wait to see!).

Sure she's channeling J.Lo in that VMA Versace dress from back in the glory days of J.Lo/Puffy, but she makes the risqué look feel chic. Maybe it's the side draping on her long sleeved Pucci dress, maybe it's the light color, or the short hair and elegant make up, or the H.Stern jewelry she paired with it, or the fact that she chose not to wear a necklace and let the plunge speak for itself.

No matter which of those many facets of the former half of McGosling's look is making it work, the only thing that matters is that it works.

But of course she did have Eric Bana and Brad Pitt to impress on that red carpet, I would have pulled out all the stops too.
