It seems the designers showing at New York Fashion Week this season are expecting a very rainy spring. We all know that April showers bring May flowers, and we get the message - staying dry will be a big priority this spring. With that in mind, trench coats were all over the runways in every shape and size. Ranging from the classic Burberryesque style at Michael Kors to a satiny orange seen at Marc Jacobs, even in the form of vests and dresses, the trench coat was a dominant force in spring time outerwear for 2011. Clearly the fashion industry is on top of the global warming situation and expecting some extreme climate ahead.
