met ball roundup: who gets your best dressed vote?
Ok kids, it's about that time, to bring forth the rhythm and the rhyme...sorry I take any chance to break into Marky Mark song.
It's time to vote for your favorite most wonderfulest best dressed girl at the MET Ball. Obviously it was really tough narrowing it down, but I made some tough choices and decided upon the following six ladies. I welcome your disagreements and write in votes! (Zoe Saldana and Chanel Iman were close calls!!)

never been so impressed: the met costume institute gala...
Forget the Oscars, Hollywood's truly most fashionable night is officially the Costume Institute Gala. I can only say Holy amazing red carpet Batman!!! I've never seen so many incredible dresses on so many insanely stylish women all in one place. Doesn't hurt that the inspiration was American style through the ages. I think all the ladies seemed to conquer it. Keep reading for some of my favorites. I don't think there's one that I can say did this year's MET Ball any wrong. It's unbelievable!
excuses, apologies, more excuses, more apologies...
yet another interesting week chez it's only fashion, which made posting virtually impossible. and here's yet another shameless attempt to make things up to you.
weekly roundup...who was your favorite????

Daily Style: Rachel Weisz Overload...

You know it's a good week when there are three opportunities to oooh and aaah over Rachel Weisz's sophisticated elegance. She's always perfectly attired and youthful without looking too stuffy, but also bypassing the overly trendy. Rachel spent last week promoting her new film by Spanish director Alejandro Amenabar "Agora" in the most perfect of style - two Marc Jacobs Resort 2010 looks (both worn with Marc's maroon leather jacket) and a little red Prada dress.
Starlets of the world take note - this is how you stay in fashion without going overboard.so much fashion, so little time...
What a way to start the week...Get ready for a lot, and I mean A LOT, of Sienna Miller after the jump...also a good amount of Diane Kruger
so much french fashion, so little time...
It's that time of year again...Hollywood has flocked to the South of France and it's premieres, parties and non stop fashioning for It Girls galore.
Rachel Weisz, Diane Kruger, Kate Austen um Evangeline Lilly, Eva Longoria and surely many more to come...Cannes's one of my favorite red carpets, especially since they bring out all the glamour and it lasts a whole 10 days
So, enough chit chat, let's get caught up on the French fashions...
The Spirit Awards - Award Show Casual
While everyone eagerly anticipates the Oscars Red Carpet showdown, my own personal favorite Award Show goes on the day before.
The Independent Spirit Awards - call it Award Show Lite. Sure it becomes a bigger circus every year (kind of like Sundance, anyone remember when Sundance was a little independent festival and not a Swag / Gift Bag / Suite Fiesta??) but it's still the most casual and laid back show, it's even in the afternoon and at the beach.
And since we here at It's Only Fashion love seeing celebs in their most laid back every day wear, The Spirit Awards is the sort of in between.
Cocktail dresses, open toe sandals, floral sun dresses... gotta love it.
Check out my favorites from yesterday's Red Carpet after the jump...
so much fashion so little time...
Ok so it's not entirely sunshiney brights (like Eva Mendes promoting The Spirit) but there are at least some non black/grey/dark navy looks in this collection.
Like Rosario Dawson at last night's premiere of Seven Pounds in what felt like a warm summer breeze (it is after all a Spring collection dress from Bottega Veneta)...that dress is beyond incredible and she accessorized with turquoise earrings and bangles... my idea of a perfectly put together look.
Check out some of the other great looks of the week including Cameron Diaz, Rachel Weisz and Mandy Moore.
What do you guys think?
