Thought we were done with the MET ball did you? Well lucky for us some ladies decided to hit the red carpet fashionably late. Giving us yet more fantastical fashions. Enjoy.
If there are two things that would make the perfect combination it's Rachel Bilson and Preen.
RBils chose a dress from Preen's fall collection for the NYC premiere of her new movie Waiting for Forever, part of the Gen Art Film Festival (which looks to have been sponsored by Don Julio Tequila so we hope she took advantage of that). As always Rachel is adorableness personified, even if she did sexy it up a bit this time with the bustier dress. Isn't it just oh so 90s? I'd expect like Christy Turlington in something like this circa 1993. And yes that's a GIANT compliment.
She paired the dress with the ubiquitous Brian Atwood Maniac pumps (we don't blame the Hollywoodettes for loving them, they are pretty freaking fantastic) and a dress matching white clutch.
Additional props to Rachel for letting her natural hair shine through, gives the rest of us some inspiration to drop the straightening iron and let our natural curls go crazy.

Rachel Bilson has a new obsession. Ok, so it's not as compulsive as the Sienna Miller/Prada bag debacle of summer 2009 just yet, but it seems to be the beginnings of a steady relationship. And we all know when Rachel wears something more than once it's love (exhibit A. the 3.1 Phillip Lim bow bag she was photographed with many a time). This time around Rachel's loving Mary Jane flats from Tila March. And why not? The "ballerine elastique" flats are the perfect transition piece from Winter to Spring. As RBils shows us, tights and jeans work perfectly with this modern mix of two staples in footwear (the flat and mary jane) but let's just take a moment to picture it paired with some floral shorts, a mini or even (GHASP) linen overalls (my new obsession for spring). Me thinks that Ms. Bilson has stumbled upon the ultimate in between season footwear.

yet another attempt at making things up to you. i know, i know... i have no excuses...
you know it's the holidays when events all happen on the same night, yes that night was last week but let's take a gander anyway...
Just so I can sleep at night knowing I brought at least some of the best from the last week. Let's take a quick look before starting fresh this week.
Before we dive into Paris Fashion Week mania, Balmain I die for you, let me play catch up from the past few days.
It was basic black all the way for Kristen, Kristin, Rachel and Drew for the last week of September, not to mention an abundance of classy sophistication. Most of which is thanks to uber stylist Nicole Chavez - aka RBils and Kristen Bell.

Our favorite little fashionista Rachel Bilson, who hit up NYFW for two shows and FNO this season, headed to Milan with one of my favorite ladies of the industry, her uber stylist Nicole Chavez. And I say uber because Nicole's amazingly talented, absolutely beautiful, her clients are always perfectly attired and ladylike, and she's as nice as can possibly be.
Anywho, Rachel was a vision in black and blue at the Salvatore Ferragamo SS 2010 show. Dressed in head to toe Ferragamo, obv, Rachel exuded young Hollywood glamour with an added European class. Her hair done up loosely - loving the very softly waived tendrils and heavily lined eyes - RBils was sophisticated yet edgy, hello overly long sheer sleeves that are practically gloves (for the modern Madonna if you will). Will we see Rachel in Paris? One can only dream...
