I'm not sure if you've heard (insert obvious sarcasm here) about this little store opening that's going on today in NYC. Yes, I will be walking over to the giant SoHo flagship of the first ever US Topshop and getting in line to hopefully get my hands on some London inspired Spring pieces.And yes I've been awake since 7 (I NEVER wake up that early) with excitement and have had several cups of coffee. 

And it looks like I'm clearly not the only one excited...Over the past two days Sir Phillip Green (that's the owner of Topshop) has hosted two sets of dinners at Balthazar and private shopping events for VIPS (ie celebrities and their hangers on), my invite must have gotten lost in the mail. Last night's event gave us a glimpse of the girl everyone's been hoping to see, Miss Kate Moss herself is on the other side of the pond to help Topshop celebrate their US opening (again for those of you who have not heard she has this little line that she designs for Topshop, sorry I'm a bit too snarky this morning)... 

So while I wait to muster up the strength to check out the store, why don't you take a look at some of the fabulous people who got first dibs on the fabulous dresses, waistcoats (I'm pretty sure that's British for vests), jumpers (again British for sweater), bags, shoes, skirts etc etc etc 

Let's just hope they have some pieces left in my size when I get there
