so much fashion, so little time...

By Roberta Correia · April 6, 2009

Blame it on Time Warner, or the rain...but I had little to no internet access last week.

Making up for lost time is nearly impossible in these conditions, but I'm willing to give it a try...

Let's see how last week finished up before voting?...

One more catch up...

Ok, there were four looks that I absolutely adored at the end of this week and I hadn't gotten around to posting yet.

Had to throw these in there before voting on our favorites from last week.

Love how springy everyone is feeling lately...if only it actually got over 40 degrees here in NYC!!

Daily Style: Leighton Meester in Preen

|
By Roberta Correia · January 27, 2009

Ok, I love Preen, and Blair Waldorf.

So no surprise, I'm ecstatic at the pairing of the two.

Leighton wore a Preen dress from the Spring 09 collection to the launch of Nylon Mexico (of which she is the first cover girl).

I love seeing her in something a bit edgier, since we normally expect her to be in a plaid skirt, sweater set and headband.

I also love Preen's use of criss-crossing and cut-outs (like the dress that Mandy Moore and Cindy Crawford both wore last year).

More pictures from Preen's collection after the jump.

Ok, so I definitely tune into Gossip Girl every Monday, sad but true, because I need my high school teen angst fix. And much like the flannels and manic panic that defined a generation of Angela Chases (sigh), Gossip Girl's preppy headbands and blazers have started an uprising of nouveaux preppy amongst teenage girls (and the tragic almost 30 year olds who can't let go of the 90210 years - and yes I'm talking about myself, don't think I didn't go out and buy a feather headband last week).

In any case, I tune in every Monday not only for the intrigue and blackmail (Chuck Bass reminds me of a teen Michael Mancini you just love to hate) but also for the very high fashions (Serena carries Chanel and Celine bags and hits the town in Herve Leger).

I absolutely loved Blair's pre-Thanksgiving non blazer look last night. Wearing an autumn colored floral blouse by one of my favorites, Korean designer Hanii Y., her look sent me straight to my favorite stores for something similar...

Check out what Urban Outfitters and my favorite Forever 21 had to offer in the Blair Waldorf cateogry. Can't you just picture the perfect Thanksgiving outfit? Floral blouse, high waisted skirt, tights and high heel oxfords...

1. Forever 21 Silk Flower Blouse. $19.90

2. Forever 21 Crepe Chiffon Floral Top. $17.80

3. Forever 21 Blossom Chiffon Top. $17.80

4. Urban Outfitters Kimchi & Blue Filmore Blouse. $29.99

5. Urban Outfitters Kimchi & Blue Crochet Front Babydoll. $29.99

6. Urban Outiftters Kimchi & Blue Floral Print Blouse. $39.99

I love the smell of fashion in the morning...

So much going on this morning - so little time!!

The Glamour Woman of the Year Awards is one of my favorite events. I had the honor of attending last year and it was so inspirational. It's also an event attended by some of the most amazing women that Hollywood has to offer - the kind of women that use their fame to make a difference. But even these girls have to get ready for a red carpet...

The Hollywood Dominos event has now come to NYC (after events in London and LA) and of course the best dressed set all came out to help the Art of Elysium charity...

And many many more events...film festivals, charities, premieres...these girls never get a day off!

Check out some great fashion moments from the last couple of days...

So much to cover, so little time!!

With the start of LA Fashion Week, this weekend saw some really great and really tragic looks for our favorite girls.

What do you think???

Weekly Roundup...

By robicor · October 11, 2008

What a week? Markets went up and down like a roller coaster, candidates debated and Hollywood's starlets were still out and about in some pretty amazing looks.

Here are my top five of the week...Practically impossible to pick a favorite but give it a shot!

What was your favorite look of the week?

Daily Style...Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester looked amazing at the CFDA New Members Event this week.

I love the simple classic black dress and the rosettes on the bright blue heels.

Looking great as per usual B.
