the greatest night in fashion...

Forget the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmy's...the MET Costume Institute Gala is the place to be for the most fashionable red carpet looks.

Hosted by Marc Jacobs, Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake, this year's "Model as Muse" Gala has to be the most style filled event of the year.

From glam ball gowns to mini sequin dresses, to some serious disasters (we'll get to that next), the red carpet was a who's who of fashion and Hollywood.

Oh and did I mention models? Sure most fashion events bring out loads of the slender and tall fashionistas, but with the Model as Muse theme, it was like a model safari - even bringing out our early 90s favorites Cindy Crawford, Paulina Poriskova and Claudia Schiffer. It's like the George Michael Freedom video all over again.

So here go the best of the best...stay tuned for the Oh No moments, trust me there were quite a few...

i'm back...

No surprise, it's Nicole Richie versus...Nicole Richie???  In another week full of Fall events - Awards, Screenings, Store Openings...quite a tough week to decide...so who do you think looked the best all week? I'm having a hard time deciding between Kate Beckinsale & Nicole Richie in her hippie paisley dress...

What do you think?

It's never ending...

And I love it!! Kate Bosworth continues on her never ending looking amazing tour...

Here she is at the launch of yet another Blackberry, looking so classic and sophisticated in a short suit by Chloe - who else could possibly pull that off?? Love the shoes, clutch, tank, hair, natural make up...everything!

Is she even promoting a movie? Or just out to attend every event possible looking uber stylish?

Weekly Roundup...Who had the best style?

Before we get started on another exciting week in fashion let's take a minute to look back on last week.

As is the case with every fall, there were benefits, exhibit openings, film festivals and much more going on...which gives us the opportunity to ooooh and aaaahhhh and uggghhhh over some of our favorite celebrities in their red carpet best.

So who do you think looked best last week?? My vote is on Mandy Moore, it's been great seeing her out and about so much and looking more sophisticated than ever.

What do you think?

Oh No-ish...

Just as I'm about to grace Kate Bosworth with being It Girl of the Week, I find her in a very feathery very furry dress at the Fashion Group International Night of Stars.

So I was going to go ahead and go with a big OH NO for this - I love the whole feather trend but this is taking a bit over the top.

Disappointed in Proenza and in Kate Bosworth? Possibly... I have to say it's a bit of a fashion risk but she makes it work with very little make up and accessories, and well you know she's stick thin and beautiful so it's hard for something to not work on her.

In any case, I won't give this a full blown oh no - but I will say proceed with caution... Maybe Kate Bosworth or Sarah Jessica Parker could pull this off, but not us mere mortals.

I love the smell of fashion in the morning...

WOW! That's the only word I can use.

Not only has Kate Bosworth been everywhere lately, but she's also looking so 100% incredible!

So what do we have to thank for her constant presence these past few weeks?? Your guess is as good as mine.

Here she is in a sequined top and patent skirt by Miu Miu at the launch of a Vacheron Constantin watch.

(I have never heard of Vacheron Constantin but she looks insanely amazing!)

I love the smell of Chanel in the morning...

Mr. Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel celebrated the opening of their mobile art pavillion in Central Park last night. (can't wait to go!)

The expected creme de la creme of the Hollywood and Fashion worlds were of course on hand, and looking marvelous in Chanel.

Here are some of my favorite looks from the evening.

Who do you think looked best in Chanel???...
