Ok, I couldn't resist a double RiRi and Diane Kruger post. Something dark must be lurking in the London waters because both ladies went for head to toe black looks at the Inglorious Basterds premiere at the Odeon. Rihanna was incredibly covered up for a change, in all black Alexander McQueen, lace gloves, black booties and piles upon piles of pearls. I do like the 1940's vibe this has (hello Sienna) but I like my Rihanna like I like my men, in neon 1980s style.  Ok maybe that's not exactly the case on the latter part, but I've come to appreciate Rihanna's fierce neon, over shouldered looks and although this is nice and sophisticated (well minus the hair) it just doesn't feel like her.

Diane Kruger also didn't feel like her usual Pacey loving self. I'm normally numero uno Diane Kruger fan, but this Balmain dress seems like it should have been on Rihanna instead of her. Don't get me wrong the dress is awesome just prefer her in something a bit softer, she doesn't have the edge to go along with this. Maybe she heard RiRi was attending and tried to out rock star glam her? The slicked back hair and heavy eye make up also not my favorite. And the lack of Joshua Jackson on her arm as an accessory is also throwing me off. 

On a totally unrelated note, where in the world is Brad Pitt that he's not at his movie's premiere?
