Drew is certainly embracing her turn as fashion icon Little Edie Beale. She's been doing the rounds promoting her HBO Film Grey Gardens (premiering on HBO this Saturday), based on the cult classic documentary of the same name, which is an intimate look into the lives of reclusive Big & Little Edie Beale - Jackie Kennedy's aunt and cousin.
Barrymore was in full glamour mode yesterday as she made her way into the Late Show with David Letterman wearing a gathered Giambattista Valli dress with sleeves straight out of Dynasty. I kind of love it, especially with the tightly pulled back hair, bulky cocktail ring and red lips.
It's not like me to like anything this over the top, but Drew is really making it work.

How much have I loved seeing Hermione Granger (also sometimes known as Emma Watson) front and center at Paris Fashion Week this season?
She's becoming a Fashion Week staple and rubbed elbows with the likes of Natalie Portman, Claudia Schiffer, Leigh Lezark, one of our favorite bloggers Mr. Derek Blasberg, and not to mention Anna herself at some little shows like - Giambattista Valli, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Sonia Rykiel and seen here at Chanel.
Not that we are surprised at how much she's grown up (she's almost 19!!)...but I guess if Harry Potter can go naked on Broadway, Hermione can become a fashion socialite.
