So apparently my announcement that the Tribeca Film Festival was without fashion was a bit premature. Last night's The Killer Inside Me premiere had me eating my words and saying apologies.
Dear Jessica Alba,
My apologies for ever doubting how positively stunning you are. See, all it took was long flowing locks (those are the most real looking extensions I ever did see), naturally glowing makeup and a beyond lovely Chloe hippie girl dress to make me a believer again. This is your best hair to date. You've peaked my interest yet again.
Now on to Kate Hudson. See my advice to Jess Alba and follow it. What's with the Mad Men hair? Too frumpy makeup and logoed poncho? Remember when you were lauded for your natural beauty and bohemian style. Let's try to get back to that shall we? Think Penny Lane...
Fantastic or dubious, either way after a week of blah fashions up and down the red carpet, we finally have something to work with.
Ok considering how stunning this Chloe blazer is, and how much I wish I could afford it, I will give Chloe Sevigny a pardon.
And if anyone can pull off wearing repeating the same Chloe scalloped pieces over and over its Ms. Sevigny, after all she does whatever she wants when it comes to fashion.
As we saw earlier this week Chloe repeated her scalloped shorts suit for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Match over the weekend and now Chloe repeats the scalloped blazer she wore to the LA Chloe boutique opening at a party for Visionaire magazine and Calvin Klein. But hey, if we had a fantastically fabulous namesake clothing line, we would rock it all the time too.
Chloe Sevigny committed one of the ultimate red carpet sins this weekend - she repeated a look!!
The quirky Big Love star faced off against herself repeating her scalloped short Chloe suit at the Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic on Saturday. Ok so it might not be exactly the same, she previously wore the suit in a darker tan color for the Paley Fest in April.
We will give her that it's a gorgeous suit and perfectly appropriate for an afternoon of princely Polo (right, forgot to mention she was watching Prince Harry play Polo) and I guess I can excuse the floral straw hat, maybe she's going for that whole "My Fair Lady" thing.
What do you think? Which Chloe Sevigny Chloe Shorts look is best?
