J'ADORE THE 2009 CFDA AWARDS
OMG, OMG, OMG...and I never use that acronym. But I have no other words to describe last night's Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards.
Fashionistas, models, celebrities, reality stars, socialites and of course designers galore. The CFDA's is probably my favorite night in fashion, it's not as costumey (pun intended) as the MET Ball and much cooler than the Oscars, and of course we are all about the cool kids.
Take a look at the complete list of last night's winners below - including Alexander Wang whose Gap CFDA collection hits stores today (already ordered the whole thing online!)...and after the jump see who wore what last night!

Womenswear Designer of the Year - Rodarte's Laura and Kate Mulleavy
Menswear Designer of the Year - A tie between Calvin Klein's Italo Zucchelli and Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg

It Girl of ...Last Week?
Oops, ok so I'm really late on this one so I'll just get right to it.
It was a tough choice... I mean granted today we are all voting for a new president and here I am agonizing on who wore the best clothes all last week.
Oy -ok, so after hours of deliberating this week's It Girl is Ashley Olsen! Half of the twin star gazzilionaires, Ashley and sister MK were all over the place promoting their book Influence...and Ashley certainly did it in style. Looking like the sophisticated business woman she is, Ashley wore The Row pieces for most of these appearances, including - liquid leggings with a white button down and a boyfriend blazer paired with a LBD that sent her straight to the top of our best dressed list.
Daily Style...Ashley Olsen
Oh Michelle Tanner - what would we do without you???
A strong front runner for it girl of the week - Ashley Olsen has been around town promoting her and sister Mary-Kate's book. Here she is going into the David Letterman show. Looking perfect as always in basic black with a big statement in earrings and amazing shoes.
You got it dude!!
Weekly Roundup...Who had the best style?
Before we get started on another exciting week in fashion let's take a minute to look back on last week.
As is the case with every fall, there were benefits, exhibit openings, film festivals and much more going on...which gives us the opportunity to ooooh and aaaahhhh and uggghhhh over some of our favorite celebrities in their red carpet best.
So who do you think looked best last week?? My vote is on Mandy Moore, it's been great seeing her out and about so much and looking more sophisticated than ever.
What do you think?

Daily Style...Ashley Olsen
I'm a sucker for all things early 90's. I still watch Beverly Hills 90210 re-runs regularly, listen to Pearl Jam and was pretty excited by the return of Doc Martens.
Ashley Olsen (a truly fantastic early 90s relic herself) was rocking that 90s minimalism that we associate with the likes of Christy Turlington at last night's Fashion Group International Night of Stars.
In a navy blue strapless Calvin Klein dress - she looked like she could have been straight out of George Michael's Freedom video.
I personally think it's awesome and am inspired to rent Reality Bites and watch Melrose Place - next thing you know everyone will be wearing mini skirt suits and chokers again...I can't wait.
