Ok so I will admit that I wasn't totally glued to the Grammy's red carpet last night. Yes it's a great event and there are tons of very interesting very gutsy fashion risks, but for the most part it's not my cup of tea. I understand the out there choices and that it's one of the events where the music community can play around with fashion and really play dress up to an extent. So I'm foregoing the Grammy coverage in lieu of a few more down to earth things. Don't hate me.
However, I'm leaving you in the most capable of hands for all of your Grammy fashion coverage. Head over to our friends at FabSugar and check out Fab TV's video coverage of one of the year's most interesting red carpets. They even have E!'s 360 cam, how can you possibly resist?

Remember when Sundance was just this small little film festival in a small quaint little mountain town? It didn't attract a ton of attention and some pretty spectacular films came out of it. Well amazing movies are still screened at Sundance but the amount of attention has certainly changed (insert T-Mobile diner, MySpace cafe, Muscle Milk lounge, etc etc here) Though I've said it before and I'll say it again, my most favorite thing about Sundance is that at heart it's still an indie film festival. And the red carpets are treated as such. There are no slinky dresses or fancy updos here - the dress code is mostly jeans, snow boots and puffy jackets. You have to hand it to the starlet who can manage to look uber cool under many many layers...
Is there a more appropriate pairing than deliciously soft cashmere and Sundance? Quintessential cashmere powerhouse Magaschoni hit the slopes last night to throw one amazing dinner party for the cast of one of Sundance's most anticipated flicks, The Romantics. That's right, the one starring Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Elijah Wood, Malin Ackerman, Anna Paquin and Dianna Agron. All hail the return of Seth Cohen!
Midst tons of snow a Tom-less Katie, a plus Fergie Josh, my most favorite Seth Cohen, Mr. Frodo and Malin Ackerman (apparently the belle of the Sundance ball) headed to the Stein Erickson lodge in Park City to not only get covered in cashmere (check out the wraps and scarves around the chairs, makes me warm and cozy just looking at them) but to fete each other and the film's producers. Can you tell I'm dying to see this movie?

I asked for risks, I got risks, and lots of color! This is what I'm talking about ladies!
A very fun red carpet for a change and as per usual Diane Kruger outdoes everyone...
sure the main event of globes night is the awards red carpet itself. but that didn't keep some of our favorite (uninvited to the big party) ladies from styling it up on the after party circuit...
